Contact the nearest Airtel store to book an appointment.
Carry your identity proof and address proof documents while visiting to buy a new Airtel SIM card.

Visit the Airtel website or download the Airtel Thanks App.
Click on “Prepaid” and select “New Prepaid SIM”.
Fill in all the required details to schedule your Airtel doorstep KYC.
Choose a prepaid plan and tap on ‘Submit’ to proceed.
An Airtel representative will soon contact you to complete the SIM card delivery request.

Visit the Airtel website at airtel.in/mnp .
Select your preferred prepaid plan by clicking on “Buy now”. Enter your details to schedule KYC pickup & SIM card delivery.
To generate a porting code or Unique Porting Code (UPC), send a short SMS. Type “PORT to 1900 and, you will receive the code via SMS from 1901.
The Airtel executive will visit your location at the selected time slot for SIM delivery and activation. Keep the required documents ready and share UPC, valid address & identity proofs with the Airtel executive.
When porting your existing number to a new Airtel SIM card , it takes around 48 hours (within the same state) & 4 days (inter-state) to switch numbers. The duration of the porting process is based according to the new TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) guidelines effective from December 16, 2019.
